An eyebrow transplant is a surgical procedure designed to rebuild eyebrows that are patchy or absent due to trauma. The process begins with a comprehensive evaluation where a specialist analyzes the patient’s hair texture to develop a natural-looking strategy that enhances facial harmony.

During the procedure, grafts are carefully harvested from a harvest site, typically the back of the scalp, using either the FUE method—which removes each graft separately—or the FUT method—which excises a narrow segment and then divides it into micro-grafts. The FUE technique is the preferred approach for eyebrow transplants because it produces no linear scar and allows for enhanced control.

Once collected, the follicles are microscopically refined to ensure each graft contains 1–3 follicular units, perfectly mirroring the natural growth pattern of eyebrow hair. The surgeon then creates precise recipient sites in the eyebrow region and places the grafts at specific orientations and precise directions to emulate the organic arch of existing eyebrow hairs. This step is essential because eyebrow hairs grow in specific directions, and poor angling can result in a artificial appearance.

The procedure is performed under regional sedation, so the patient remains awake but feels complete numbness. It typically lasts between two to four hours, depending on the number of grafts needed. After surgery, the grafted strands will enter telogen phase within three to five weeks, کاشت ابرو در شهریار which is a standard part of healing. regrowth begins around quarter-year mark and gradually thickens over the next six to twelve months.

Recovery is minimal with little to no downtime. Patients may experience temporary inflammation around the eyebrows for 2–5 days, but this fades quickly. It is essential to refrain from pressure or friction the area and to strictly follow the surgeon’s recovery protocol to maximize success.

The results of an eyebrow transplant are long-lasting because the transplanted follicles originate from areas resistant to hair loss of the body. Once the new hairs grow in, they behave like natural eyebrow hair and can be colored just like the rest of the brows. Many patients report a dramatic increase in self-esteem and a more balanced facial appearance after the procedure.
