Today Lachlan is 4 years old and we're going out to see them after work. Robyn had her bloods executed at this time and arrived in my workplace (I work on the local hospital in an administrative area) in tears as the process had not gone very nicely - if taking bloods can ever go "nicely" ! She did say she hoped they hadn't made a mistake as she actually didn't wish to repeat the method. By now it was nicely after 3.30 pm and some of the cafes were shut, but we did discover one place - sad to say it was Starbucks. I wanted to say that ! We gave her his first guide Every Second Counts for Christmas and she read it from cowl to cover in a couple of days. He gave her a prescription for an Antihistamine for the itchy pores and skin. Will it hurt when the skin area is marked for radiation ? Chemo will observe the Oncologist appointment.

First up Robyn had an X-ray at 10am after which an appointment with Mr Andy Simpson the Oncologist. First up tomorrow for Robyn is a chest x-ray at 10 am followed by an appointment with the Oncologist, Dr Simpson, at 10.30 am. Maybe the mass hasn't completely gone, although the X-ray results look good. He stated the results of the chest X-ray had been good, as have been the bloods she had accomplished the earlier day. Robyn had her "low" day last Wednesday (day 8 after the chemo). Robyn had her third dose of Ioscan, this time blended in water - a bit extra tolerable. Will the every day radiation therapy be at the same time every day ? Robyn had her final time and was meant to ask for her as we speak, but she mentioned she ‘trusted’ the man to have the ability to do the job. Robyn mentioned it was a very slow sensation this time, compared to the quick flush sensation she got at Wellington Hospital, when the drug flowed in shortly.
