After Michael went into "retirement," Trevor relocated to Sandy Shores and decided to do what he does best — be a redneck. He lives in a trailer, has terrible hygiene, is promiscuous with all the wrong people and associates with…let’s just say the "the wrong crowd." Even though he has delusions of grandeur thanks to his shell company "Trevor Phillips Industries," he’s a broke loser with little to show in life. After finding out that former accomplice Michael is alive and well under a different name, he decides to drive down to Los Santos to pay him a visit. Soon all three characters are thrust into the plans of a crooked FiB agent (guess what initialism that’s a play on) and some notorious gangsters in the city and have to work together to survive and bring in a handsome payday while they’re at it.
Of course, he has very little in the way of morals, and is willing to do just about anything necessary to earn money, and this, of course, includes assault, robbery, and plenty of murder. Only a true savage has a body count as impressive as this
GTA V Immersive world V has three protagonists, each with their own unique tastes, styles, and personalities. You can customize their clothes, hair, and vehicles, whatever. Most of them stick, but there’s always one that resets and it’s annoying every time it happens. You can spend a good deal of time looking for the perfect outfit for Michael, Franklin, or Trevor. You get the clothes, you’re feeling good, switch it up to one of the other protagonists for a second and then once you switch back – BAM, completely different set of clothes. It isn’t that hard to change them back mind you, but trekking it all the way back to your safe house just to out on some new threads is kind of a pain unless you’re in the a
Of course, the biggest question on many’s mind is whether or not this is a mere gimmick. With the amount of work and customization Rockstar clearly put into it, it’s far from a throwaway feature. Those who tailor the settings to their likings will realistically find a whole new way to experience the title. Some may even prefer many aspects of first-person mode. While I found it agreeable, I still prefer to experience the entire game in third-person, but there’s no denying that gunplay can be more smooth and precise in first-person. However gamers decide to experience it, though, they can be assured it will be in a beautiful setting.
Described by Trevor Philips as "inbred hillbilly twats," the O'Neil brothers are little more than very minor antagonists for his business, but during their brief time in the game, they are undeniably savage. They are presented as a group of inbred imbeciles, living on a family farm in the middle of nowhere, and doing little other than cooking meth and behaving like the lowest forms of human life. Trevor attacks their farm/meth lab compound, taking out most of these guys, but several had left the area prior to the start of the mission. They are taken care of later. While the O'Neil's aren't the most violent or scary of the savage characters in the game, they are recognized as being beyond rural, and closer to something almost f
Sadly, the title was either passed over or dismissed outright as a bad game. This was a shame because Nier has a fantastically dark tale, with multiple endings that tell cryptic and very emotional character stories. The events that play out all have meaning, substance, and shock value. Nier is definitely a unique game that needs to be experienced first h
Last year I got to use the Oculus Rift to play XING: The Land Beyond , and even though that game didn’t have the most realistic graphics, it felt stupidly real. Despite the facts that I was holding an Xbox 360 controller in my hands and that every one of my senses except sight told me I was not exploring a tropical island, there were multiple times I found myself reaching out for objects in front of me. It made me forget where I was, sitting down in a convention hall full of thousands of people.
Early into its release Nier was overshadowed by two games, the first was Final Fantasy XIII , and the second was God Of War . Square-Enix naturally threw all its financial and advertising weight behind its most lucrative franchise. What little marketing Nier did receive, made it look like a low-budget God Of War style action g
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is one of the best open world games for a few reasons. For one, it features a vast open world with no shortage of interesting things to see. Secondly, it's a game that can truly be played forever, as it features dynamic quests that never stop generating for the player. It also features some of the most engrossing quest lines in series history and gives players more freedom than almost any game before
It’s hard to imagine, but Grand Theft Auto V dropped almost four years ago, and in that time, the game has gotten a PC port and new generation rereleases. Not unexpected from Rockstar’s marquee franchise. The GTA series has grown into one of the most popular modern video game franchises and with the release of GTA V has cemented itself as one of the most iconic in all of gaming. V gives you a ton of things to do, from an interesting, engrossing story to fun side missions, character customization, and mini-games found throughout the world. Along with its online mode, it’s one of the most inclusive games you can find out th
